The Pay with Points program offers our rewards members the ability to book using points and card/cash payments at any Best Western branded hotels across North America. It has added instant value to our Best Western Rewards program by allowing members to apply as little as 5,000 Best Western Rewards points towards their stay and pay the rest, rather than needing to accumulate enough points for a full night.
The program has shown to be favorable for both hotels and BWR members and will continue to drive more revenue to our hotels by deepening brand loyalty with our customers.
Program Launch: Tuesday, January 4, 2022
Details: A payment option that allows Best Western Rewards members to book reservations with both points and cash/card payments
Who: All Best Western Rewards members (regardless of country of residence)
Where: All Best Western branded hotels in North America. This includes participating SureStay branded hotels.
Program Benefits
- Approximately 80% of our BWR members have accrued between 5,000 – 15,000 BWR points. With Pay with Points, these BWR members no longer have to wait until they reach the free room night threshold. Instead, they can utilize their points right away for an instantly discounted room rate.
- A third of BWR members who use Pay with Points book two to three room nights on average. That means hotels earn an additional one to two nights on reservations on Pay with Points reservations.
- 35% of reservations made with Pay with Points are for hotels where our BWR members have not previously stayed, meaning members are explore new hotels and destinations when using Pay with Points.
- Members must book qualifying rates to be eligible for this offer. Reservations with FX or EP rates will not qualify for this promotion
- Guest can only book Pay with Points reservations on BestWestern.com, so front desk associates will always know exactly how much cash to collect from the guest.
