FX Reimbursement & Allocation Structure

Free Night (FX) stays continue to be one of the most sought-after loyalty program rewards. Our three-tiered FX reimbursement structure ensures that all of our valued members are able to receive fair compensation for FX stays.

Best Western Program: Free Night (FX) Program

Changes: FX reimbursements are tracked according to this three-tiered structure:

  • If occupancy of a hotel is 90% or greater when the FX room night is consumed, the hotel will be reimbursed at 90% of their Average Daily Rate (ADR).
  • If occupancy is 70% or greater, yet less than 90% when the FX room night is consumed, the hotel will be reimbursed at 70% of their ADR
    If occupancy is less than 70% when the FX room night is consumed, the hotel will be reimbursed at the greater value of either 40% of their ADR or $40 USD

Important Details:

  • $40 USD is the minimum FX redemption reimbursement regardless of occupancy.
    Hotels are required to provide at least 10% of total rooms (must be a minimum of three (3) rooms) and no more than 50% of their total rooms for FX redemptions

Ways to Redeem Free Night Awards

Free Night Award Redemption is Now Live on Bestwestern.com:

Guests may now apply their Free Night Awards to their stay when booking through Bestwestern.comThis stellar new feature may be used for stays booked at hotels in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean and may only be applied to single room, single night stays.

Free Night Award Redemption Reminder:
 
We ask that all Innsiders please remember to follow these steps when manually redeeming a Free Night Award earned from the Stay 2 Nights, Get A Free Night For Your Next Stay promotion:
 
  1. In MemberWeb, go to ‘Best Western Rewards’ 
  2. Click ‘Redemption’ 
  3. Enter the “Award No’, ‘Sequence no’ (please be sure to enter FOUR digits), ‘Issue Date’, and ‘Date of Free Night Stay’ (enter the date the guest actually stayed at the hotel). In the ‘Reference’ box, enter the Guest’s name. 
  4. Once all the information is entered, select ‘Submit’ 
  5. Underneath the blue bar, you will see the award number, sequence number, and other comments. Once you see this, it confirms that the award has been redeemed. If you see something that states ‘Rejected’ and in the ‘Comments’, it states that the award is invalid; that means that the award may not have been redeemed. If this happens, please call BWR Property Support at 877-735-1737.
