BWR Star Program
Does Your Property Have A BWR Star?
The BWR Star program is a group of dedicated representatives from Best Western properties across North America. Since June 2022, the program has grown to have over 1,400 Best Western properties that have a dedicated BWR Star.
The purpose of this program is to elevate a property’s Best Western Rewards program while strengthening revenue. Every property is encouraged to have a BWR Star who can lead and run the property’s rewards program to strengthen superior customer care for every guest. Any staff member at the property can nominate a coworker or themself to take on the leadership role. There is only one BWR Star per property and they must abide by the role requirements.
Requirements of BWR Stars:
- Must be a registered Innsider at their property
- Must not have any restrictions on their account
- Must have a valid email address
- Must be willing to be a BWR mentor for their property
- Must participate in monthly calls/BW Connect activities
Role Benefits:
Once the applicant has been accepted into the program, they are given unique opportunities and rewards. In appreciation for attending the monthly, virtual meeting, the BWR Stars in attendance are given 1,000 BWR points per meeting. BWR Stars are given exclusive access to a private BW Connect channel where they can interact with BWR Stars across North America and the Rewards Marketing Team. Through the monthly meetings and e-newsletter (The BWR Star Rendezvous and The BWR Star Report) BWR Stars are told exclusive news about BWR programs and upcoming promotions which they can then share with their fellow team members.
Property Benefits:
Properties that have an actively engaged BWR Star have an increased likelihood of meeting the enrollment goal of 1.25% of the total available room inventory. Properties with a BWR Star have shown significant improvement in their enrollment goals in the first two months of participating in the program in comparison to properties that do not have a BWR Star.
