Best Western Gift Cards are a great method of payment to drive revenue to our hotels. Gift cards can be purchased or earned during promotions (when offered). Guests can use their gift cards to pay for stays at any Best Western® hotel worldwide, and requires guests to book through our branded channels.

Hotels earn 10% commission for all Best Western Gift Card® sales
Hotels are reimbursed 90% of the redemption value of the Best Western Gift Card®

Manage Gift Cards in Givex
In Givex, you will be able to perform the following:
- Check the balance and historical activity of the card
- Activate to add initial funds on the card
- Redeem funds on the card to book stays
- Cancel transactions within 24 hours. If longer than 24 hours, contact Customer Service
- Reload money onto a card
Note: All transactions will be completed in your local currency
How to Redeem Gift Cards
To redeem a card, go to the Givex Portal “Gift Card Program” > “Transactions” > “Redemption”
- Enter the Operator ID “0” • User ID will automatically show, no need to change it
- ISO Code: Select “All”
- Enter the Gift Card number (Givex Number)
- Amount > Enter the amount of money the customer would like to redeem in local currency
- Comment > Enter the Best Western confirmation number to reconcile
Note: You will need to go into the reservation and remove the amount being redeemed from the guest’s folio.
How Guest Redeem Gift Cards Online
- Available on BestWestern.com
- Only for single room bookings
- Gift cards available in USD & CAD
- Currency must match hotel’s currency
- Not eligible on FX rates
- Hotels do not need to access MemberWeb to redeem gift cards
- Multiple cards – Limit 6
- Maximum of $1,000 with one gift card
- Maximum of $6,000 with six gift cards
- Cannot be used in place of credit card for a reservation
